Tips
- Browse team coverage first
If you follow a local team, open DAZN and look for its game and coverage listings before match time. The service describes live and on-demand games as well as pre- and post-game coverage, highlights and analysis. Availability is subject to the relevant offering, so check what appears for your team in the app.
- Use on-demand sports options
When a live event does not fit your schedule, look through DAZN’s on-demand sports choices. The service lists games, fight nights, match replays, highlights and a library of sports programming. Availability depends on the content offered to you, but the app is described as covering both live viewing and on-demand options.
- Check scores beyond streams
DAZN describes real-time Stats and Scores for all games, including games that are not streaming on the service. Look for the relevant game in the app when you want to follow a score without watching a DAZN stream. This can help you keep track of sports beyond the live events available to view there.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. Select Weekly is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of DAZN changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with DAZN. The app’s Google Play page is the authority for its release information, availability and current listing. For the official details, open DAZN’s page in Google Play and compare the information shown there with what appears in the app.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may show Open when the app is already current for your device, or while an update is being made available in stages. Check the app’s Play page again later if you expected an update. The version label can vary with device, so the page on your own device is the useful place to check.
Can I watch every listed team or event?
Not necessarily. DAZN’s description lists some team coverage as subject to availability, and live sports offerings can depend on the service available to you. Check the team or event listing in the app before planning to watch. The description also includes on-demand programming, such as replays, highlights and other sports content.
