The current build's notes cover usability improvements and minor bug fixes. That makes this a maintenance-focused release for people who record or play audio in the app.
- 02Worth using: choose recording formats
Worth using: select from MP3, PCM, AAC, or AMR formats. These options give you a way to balance audio quality and file size for different recordings.
- 03Worth using: organize your recordings
Worth using: play, rename, sort, and share recordings from the app. You can also select multiple files for sharing or deletion, helping with routine library cleanup.

Tips
- Pick a format for the recording
Before recording, choose an audio format that suits how you plan to use the file. Voice Recorder Pro lists MP3, PCM, AAC, and AMR, with sample-rate and bitrate controls as well. Smaller or more compatible files may suit quick memos, while you can choose among the available quality options for recordings you want to keep.
- Find and sort saved audio
Use the recording list to sort clips by date, name, size, or duration, then play the one you need in the built-in player. If you prefer a particular folder, look in the app's Settings for the recordings folder option. Keeping a useful folder and sorting method can make older memos easier to locate.
- Share or tidy several files
When you need to pass recordings along, use the app's sharing options to send them through email or another app. For library cleanup, the description says long-press selection supports choosing multiple files to share or delete. Check the selected items before deleting, especially when several recordings are marked at once.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. Select Weekly is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Voice Recorder Pro changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with Splend Apps. The app's Google Play page is the authority for its release information and current listing. Google Play lists usability improvements and minor bug fixes for this build; check the app's page there for the details shown to you.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may make an app update available to accounts or devices in stages, so the listing can show Open before the update is offered to everyone. Check the app's Google Play page again later. If an install option appears, use Google Play to get the official app and its update.
Can I use it as a call recorder?
The app description says a phone-call audio source is selectable, but also says Voice Recorder Pro is not a dedicated call recorder and may not work properly on some devices. Its stated uses include voice notes, meetings, interviews, lectures, speeches, and concerts. Do not rely on it for call recording without checking the rules and device behavior that apply to you.
