Disclaimer

Select Weekly is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC or by the developers of the apps it mentions, unless a page states otherwise. Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC; other app names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the apps we write about.

Accuracy

We check version numbers, update notes and settings paths against each app's Google Play listing and the developer's public help pages, as well as we can. Apps are released in stages and differ by device, Android version, region and account, so your screen may not match our pages. When our page and the app's official Google Play page disagree, the official page is the one to follow.

App files and outside links

We do not host or alter any app on this site. Every button in our weekly issues and guides that leads to an app opens its official Google Play listing, published by the developer named there. Links on the older catalogue pages may point to other websites; we do not control those websites or anything they offer.

Editorial opinion

Our verdicts are the editors' opinion, meant to help readers decide when to act. They are not technical support or security advice for a particular device.

Advertising

Select Weekly is funded by advertising. Ads are labelled, and advertisers do not influence which apps we select or what we write.
