Tips
- Compare the hourly outlook
Open the hourly forecast when you need to plan around changes during the day. Compare the predicted conditions, temperature, precipitation, and wind across the hours rather than relying on a single current reading. If your plans are flexible, check the outlook again later, since forecasts are useful for planning but conditions can change.
- Choose comfortable measurement units
Set temperature to Fahrenheit or Celsius, and choose the wind and pressure units that are easiest for you to read. Look in the app’s Settings for unit choices if you want a different display. Consistent units make it easier to compare the app’s current conditions with forecasts and information you use elsewhere.
- Add a weather home-screen widget
If you want a quick glance at conditions, add one of the app’s weather or clock widgets to your home screen. The description lists several sizes and says widget themes can be changed. Pick a layout that fits your screen, then check that the widget shows the location and forecast you want.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. Select Weekly is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Weather Forecast changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with Weather Forecast - WaiWao Studio. The app’s Google Play page is the authority for its listing and update information. Check that page for the latest details before installing, and use the developer name there to confirm you have found the intended app.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may show Open when an update is not available to your account yet, including when availability is staged, or when the installed app is already current for you. Check the app’s Play page again later. The page is the place to confirm whether Google Play offers an installation for your device.
Can I see forecasts for more than today?
Yes. The app description says it provides hourly and daily forecasts, including an outlook ten days ahead. Forecast details can include conditions, high and low temperatures, precipitation, and wind. Open the forecast views to look at the time period you need, and revisit them as your plans or the weather change.
