Tips
- Choose useful radar layers
Open the live radar and switch among the layers that suit the conditions you want to follow, such as rainfall, snowfall, wind speed, or cloud cover. Temperature, dew point, and ultraviolet index are also listed. Focus on the information you need for the selected place rather than treating every overlay as equally useful.
- Keep forecasts for several cities
Add the locations you regularly need to follow using the app's multi-city management and city search. That can make it easier to compare conditions for home, work, or a trip without relying on a single local forecast. The description says the app covers locations worldwide, so search for the place you need.
- Set weather units to suit you
Use the app's custom units to choose how weather measurements are shown. Its description lists separate choices for temperature, wind, pressure, visibility, precipitation, and ultraviolet index. Setting familiar units can make forecasts easier to scan, especially when comparing different kinds of conditions or planning around rain and wind.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. Select Weekly is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Weather Forecast, Live Radar changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with Fillog Studio. The app's Google Play page is the authority for its current listing and change information. This editorial summary describes the Play data provided here; check the app's page for the latest details before deciding whether to install.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may show Open when the update is not currently offered to your account or device, including during a staged rollout. Check the app's Play page again later to see whether the button changes. The listing gives a recent update date, but availability can reach people at different times.
Can I use the app to follow a storm?
The app description says its live radar can show weather overlays and storm movement, direction, and speed. It also lists hurricane tracking with projected paths and potential landfall times, plus severe-weather alerts. These tools are intended to help you monitor conditions; keep following relevant local instructions during dangerous weather.
