Muse from Meta: set it up right the first time
Get it from Google Play if it isn't on your phone yet, then change three settings before you start using it.
What it's for
Muse is a personal AI assistant for handling email, scheduling, shopping research, budgets, and longer jobs involving research and bookings. On a new phone, it gives you a place to delegate that work, choose relevant service connections, and review actions before they happen.

Install the official Muse from Meta app through Google Play, checking that the developer is Meta Platforms, Inc.
After it installs: three settings
- 01Choose connected services carefully
Connections determine which services Muse can use for your requests. Start with the access a task needs, and revoke connectors you no longer want available.
Look in the app's Settings for connected services - 02Keep task notifications useful
Muse sends a notification when something needs attention while work continues in the background. Review notification controls so those requests remain useful to you.
Look in the app's Settings for notifications - 03Personalize the assistant's voice
You can name Muse and shape how it talks. Choose a style that makes its requests and responses easy for you to understand and review.

Common problem
Is a task going off track? Start by checking the activity log against what you asked Muse to do. Review any proposed action before approving it, and intervene where needed. If a connected service is no longer appropriate for the task, you can revoke that connector.
