Square Home - Windows style 4.0.10: what changed
The listed changes focus on visual customization, a new search option in Home settings, and maintenance work. Here is how those changes fit Square Home's tile-based launcher and what you can make of them.
What changed
- 01A refreshed app design
Square Home presents apps and information through a Metro-inspired tile layout. The new design is one of the concrete changes listed for this build, alongside several tile styling options. If you already use the launcher, you can look over its refreshed appearance after installing; if you are considering it, the design remains centered on arranging and customizing a home screen.
- 02More tile appearance options
These additions give you more ways to shape the appearance of Square Home's tiles. The inverse blur and grayscale effects provide additional background treatments, while Round radius gives you a further control in the tile size and style options. They are customization choices, so their usefulness depends on the look you want from your launcher.
- 03Search and maintenance updates
Search support is the functional addition named for Home options in this build. The notes also group bug fixes and optimization among the changes, without describing particular issues. If you use Square Home regularly, the new search support may be useful when adjusting Home options; the maintenance work accompanies the design and tile changes.
