What changed
- 01Bug fixes and other improvements
The release is described as including bug fixes and other improvements. For readers, Goodreads centers on keeping a record of books and their progress, then using reviews and recommendations to choose what to read next. You can keep books on reading shelves, rate and review titles, and share your reading journey with friends.
- 02Worth using: Organize your reading shelves
Goodreads lets you sort books into shelves that reflect where you are with each title. Use Want to Read for books you may choose next, Currently Reading for books in progress, Read for finished titles, and Did Not Finish for books you set aside. Custom lists can group books by series, mood, or recommendations.
- 03Worth using: Find books through readers
Goodreads combines book discovery with reader conversation. Recommendations are based on books you have read and loved, while reviews from other readers can help you weigh a title before choosing it. Following friends offers another way to spot books they are reading, and groups give members a place to discuss stories together.
